Just a week ago, I received a box from Vanity Trove. It is my first box from them! I ♥heart♥ the white and hot pink colour~

As most of you had already knew, their box design is pull-out drawer kind.

 Pulling it out, I see....

I had infact finished this pack of Bach Rescue Pastilles!
The day I received Vanity Trove, I had a mild headache and I consume one pastille. I'm not sure if it really work wonders for everyone but I actually DID feel better. I am not exaggerating here because that is what I felt that day. The headache subsided after about an hour. The next day my body felt pretty uneasy & slightly stressed so I consume another pastille and felt a bit better too after awhile.
In addition, I don't like to eat blackcurrants but this pastille taste was pretty acceptable to my taste buds. ^_^ I will definitely buy it if I see it selling at Guardian & Watsons stores!

For the 1st quarter of this year, I didn't purchase much stuffs therefore I can squeeze (almost) all the things I bought in 1 post! hahahax~

First up...
Vivi Magazine May 2013 issue!

The day I saw Vivi Facebook posted a pic of the Honey Mi Honey freebie, I immediately tagged my friend Sel and asked her help me get this May issue!!! Lolx~ Vivi don't usually have freebies, they only do it once a year... or so? May issue is also so far the thickest volume I ever own!

Vertical Black-White stripes is VERY IN this Summer! Everywhere in the Vivi magazines shows celebrities wearing black-white stripes coats, skirts, blouses, tees, pants, leggings, etc etc and not forgetting bags too! ▣▣▣



Havaianas flip-flops
I got a few pairs of Havaianas flip-flops because I got a couple of vouchers from the Havaianas 2013 collection launch which I attended the other time. ^_^

First pair is the 4nite collection, which is GLOW IN THE DARK flip flops! Yippe!!~ I love anything that glows in the dark~ hahhax~ (Even my iphone does too! =p)
It's unisex so the width is slightly wider than the women's flip flops. It's retailing at $49.90

It is the first pair that caught both +everbluec chantana and my eyes. How can I miss this.. its all so skully and turquoise~ Lolx~

I actually wanted to get pink or purple basic pair (TOP - MASC collection, retails at $32.90) but there wasn't my size so I got this bright yellow one! ^_^

During March, I attended the DHC rebranding campaign, as well as the launch of DHC new skincare products & health supplements.

The event was held at Cookyn Inc, situated at 221 Rangoon Rd.

This slide explains the benefits of using hot (warm) towel. Looking at the illustration, all of us laughed and so did the model and the DHC trainer. hahax~

During the presentation, we were shown a picture of the Japanese Team 美魔女 (Bimajyo) also known as the Beautiful/ Beauty Witch. All of these ladies are aged 35 and above （generally 40 and above) and they look like 20plus! 美魔女 started trending since year 2009 in Japan and the trend spreads out to other parts of Asia such as Taiwan, China etc. I first heard about it was from Kevin 老师 on the Taiwan popular 女人我最大 (Queen) TV show. 
From these bimajyo we learnt that skincare is important as well as what we consume too, because beauty also comes from within. If we take care of our skin and our body well, we will look young when we hit 40, just like them. ^_^


DHC Age-Defying Beauty Cooking Session
A cooking session?? Well, sort of.. more like just mixing the stuffs together since the Cookyn staff already prepared them for us. hehhee~
I like the idea of the live video on the big screen!

During the cooking session, we were taught how to implement collagen into our meals. For Sushi, we sprinkled (more like pour) in DHC collagen powder and then rolled the sushi. The white powder you see landed on the wooden mat is actually the collagen powder.

This is my first time making a sushi and I'm glad it looks quite decent. ^_^ The collagen powder doesn't have weird taste or feels powdery on my tongue. It kind of melts & blend in with the rest of the food once it enters my mouth.

We also learnt Baked buttery mentaiko ramen, again implementing the collagen powder into it.

Ending the cooking session with a dessert, Yogurt anmitsu with fresh fruit.
Mine is more like just mochi balls + jelly cubes and DHC Collagen beauty 7000+. Lolx~
But it was REALLY NICE. I like how the DHC Collagen beauty taste! It's very sour with abit of sweetness, so I won't grow sick of the taste. The mochi + jelly are very chewy! (I love to chew chew chew)

Review: Mary Kay Timewise Plus+ Regina-Firm Correcting Eye Cream

Today, I'm reviewing the Mary Kay TimeWise® Plus+™ Regena-Firm™ Correcting Eye Cream which I received from the launch event.

Before you read my review, click HERE to read more about the products and the importance of Stem Cells.

Packaging
As the product is made in Korea, part of the packaging were written in Korean.
Ingredients however are all in English.

Expiry date on bottom of the box.


Product
The eye cream is suitable for both contact lens wearers and sensitive eyes, which actually means, it is definitely good for me! I have very sensitive eyes and I wear contact lens. ^_^
The applicator is made of zamac and named as the Zamac tip. It is designed to help stimulate micro-circulation.

Swatch
Squeeze the tube to get the product from the tip outlet. This is roughly the amount I would use for both eyes.

It is a opaque white eye cream.

From the hand swatch, you can clearly see that the cream leaves a glossy finish on my skin.


How to use - Illustration with steps



How to apply Mary Kay Timewise plus+ Regina-firm Correcting Eye Cream(miwitch's style)
*Note this is not a before after use image. It's a pictorial of How I use the eye cream 
Pic 1: Bare eye - fine lines and crepey skin undereye & hooded eyelid (I call them droopy eyelids)
Pic 2: Dotting a pea size of the eye cream around my eye with my ring finger (I apply the cream separately because I do not want my skin to contaminate the product & area around the tip outlet.)
Pic 3: Using the other side of the zamac tip (not the outlet side), place it under the eye closest to the nose area.
Pic 4: Gently sweep & massage at the same time in an outward circular motion
Pic 5: Lift  at the outer corner of the eyes, then repeat on the other eye.
Extra: The same sweep & massage applies to upper eyelid as well and last step is always lift. Never apply eye cream in a downwards motion at the outer corner of the eyes.

After applying, the under eye looks not that dry anymore. The crepey skin under my eyes become less noticeable.

Review
I had been using this eye cream for more than 3 months. Here's what I experience:
- very lightly scented eye cream
- very creamy consistency
- after spreading it out, it feels creamy and sticky
- though it gives a glossy finish, it doesn't feel greasy
- creates a sticky light film on skin surface, trapping moisture within it
- during application, the zamac tip feels very cooling on my skin
- zamac tip glides on my skin smoothly
- cream doesn't irritate my eyes at all (no stinging)
- my eyes feel a little firm and very moisturized right after application
- it immediately relieves tightness & dryness around eyes (usually experience this right after a shower/bath)
- after 2 months of using, it overall lifted my hooded eyelids, making my eyes appear slightly larger than before thus making my eyes look brighter
- outer corner of my eyes still appear droopy (my droopy eye shape is inherited) but overall eyelids feel slightly firmer
- deep wrinkles under my eyes becomes finer as skin around my eyes plumped up
- fine lines maintained the same
- crepey skin under my eyes was formerly a lot worst than the one I shown above and now it has significantly reduced
-  doesn't appear to reduce my dark circles
- the skin around eyes remain hydrated through out the day
- under eyes crepey skin will become slightly visible when makeup is used
- a tiny bit of the eye cream can be dabbed (using ring finger) on top of the makeup to re-moisturize the under eyes if it starts to dehydrate
- didn't experience any milia seeds
- can be layered on top of other eye serums (I had done so all these while and there is no adverse effect)
I grew fond of using the applicator that I even use it to apply my eye serum (other brand). The applicator makes point massaging a breeze and no more scarring myself with my nails when applying the eye cream. (Yes I know, silly me.. ^_^") It will be a great tool for anyone who has long nails.
The eye cream minimizes the fine lines and wrinkles quite a lot in the initial stage and then it kind of maintains the same through out. As long as I am still using the eye cream, the wrinkles didn't grew worst than what it is now.
I like the fact that my eyes look slightly larger too. I had been pretty upset with my overly-hooded/droopy eyes for a long time and the upper lids sagged and cover the upper part of my iris making my eyes look smaller. After using the eye cream, I see significant results on both of my eyes. The eyelids now sits just at the border of my iris instead of covering over them.

They are medium dense and slightly stiff. The eye color brush feels softer than the other brushes.

Review & Swatch: ISEHAN Heavy Rotation Powder Eyebrow & Nose Shadow (vs Kate Designing Eyebrow)

Ahh.. I kind of forgotten that I had purchased the Heavy Rotation Powder Eyebrow palette too when I was in KL (read my post on Comic Fiesta @ KLCC), so I'm making up for this pretty little thing in a separate post.
I had been lemming on this since the day I saw it on Isehan Heavy Rotation's website. I been waiting till it's in Singapore and when it's in, I didn't buy. Lolx~
Apparently I saw it in KL last Dec and it was on discount at their Watsons. I bought it at about RM38 $15+~$16? compare to local selling at SGD$19.90, it's so worth buying in Malaysia~ ♥

Some history...
I started using their first edition of Heavy Rotation brow mascara since 2010 (The company was called KissMe, now they changed to Isehan) mostly to colour my brow so it matches my blonde hair and also for cosplay purpose. Then, there was totally 0 brow mascara that I could find in Singapore and I had to get it online through Taiwan Ebay.
I'd also blogged about their newest edition of brow mascara which I introduced to Na when we were in KL, she also like it! ^_^
And now, there are so many brow mascaras in the market to choose from! I am in heaven! lolx~

Right, back to topic... Since I love their brow products so much, I thought I must get this powder brow palette too! ♥
There are 2 shades in total, this one is #01 where the middle shade is more yellow than the one in #02 palette.

Packaging
Palette's so cute! Can't resisttttt! ♥ Even for the Malaysia's product, they also have the instructions all in English at the back of the packaging just like the ones sold in Singapore.


Product
3.5g of product in this palette. The lid looks like a mirror but its just plastic chrome coated.

Swatch
See what I mean, the middle one is yellowish brown.. Its perfect for hair like mine (often blonde if not orange kinda shade), also perfect for yellow fibre wigs.


Heavy Rotation Powder Eyebrow & Nose Shadow VS Kate Designing Eyebrow
Now I gonna swatch Heavy Rotation against the infamous KANEBO Kate Designing Eyebrow palette in EX-4 (the lighter shade).
Sorry for this dirty Kate palette ^_^" I had used it for quite sometime...
Kate has a mirror but Heavy Rotation doesn't.
▲ Kate angle brush is alot smaller than the Heavy Rotation but the other end of the brush is bigger.


Swatches
*Note: swatch using my fingers
Heavy Rotation pigments are easy to pick up by my fingers maybe because it is new and it has a rough surface texture which makes it even easier to pickup. Kate's surface is too smooth for the pigments to stick to my fingers, I had to apply many rounds to make the colour more visible for my swatches.

Review
I love using Kate Designing Eyebrow for their pigments are very fine and it builds up slowly because the colour is pretty light. Even for the darkest brown, it is also light when applied on my eyebrow. It will show dark brown on me after 2-3 layers. It is a good eyebrow as well as a nose shadow powder because I will never overdo my makeup with this palette. However, I wish they can come up with a palette that's for the blondes or coloured hair other than browns.

Being a sucker for blonde eyebrows, I had to say I love the yellowish brown shade in Heavy Rotation (It's the BIG + point!). It's colour payoff is better than Kate's, easy to pickup by the brush. However the dark brown is very dark, I had to apply very lightly. When comes to applying on the nose, the yellow-brown doesn't work because its too yellowish. Dark brown is too dark so again I had to apply very lightly and need to buff and blend it to suit my skin tone. The lightest shade is very close to my skin colour so it is not really noticeable when used on my nose. Perhaps for fairer skin people can use the lightest shade as nose shadow.


After reading this, I hope I can convert some of you to become Heavy Rotation fans! hahhaa!~ :D

I received a TFS Natural Sun AQ Smart Cushion press kit through the courtesy of TheFaceShop.

An innovative portable sun screen item is going to steal hearts of many. 3 in 1 function includes UV protection, cooling effect and makeup effect all in one!

Product
Smart Cushion in the form of a compact. A pretty thick compact I must say. 
The product shelf-life is about 3 years, and 12 months if opened. I suppose the icons printed on the label meant to say that it can be used for all weathers - Sunny, Raining, Snowing and gives a flawless complexion.

It has a mirror (sealed with a plastic which I haven't remove it till now. Lolx~ ), a sponge and an extra flippable lid to hold the sponge as well as double secure the content (the cushion) under it.

Under the flip is the cushion. The label illustrates that users must press the lid hard till you hear a click sound to secure it when it's not in use.

Notice at the side of the lid has this extra tab below it? It is to prevent the the cushion from contamination and the content from spilling out.
The sponge is flat and feels waxy. It is not the ordinary sponge we often use in powder foundation.
 ▲ The product ooze out of the cushion when I press the sponge on it. The cushion is fully packed with the tinted sunblock.

Face Swatch
For the face swatch, taken under white lighting.
There's slight discoloration on my face, scars and a few inflammation here & there. With the Natural Sun AQ Smart Cushion, my skin looks even and flaws concealed.

Review
- has a nice powdery floral scent
- the sponge picks up the protect from the cushion easily
- the sponge feels waxy on skin
- I don't feel any cooling effect on my skin, it feels like normal when applied
- the method to apply must be by dabbing as the sponge doesn't slide along the skin surface well, it tugs the skin
- has yellow undertone light beige tint
- although the coverage is light but it is noticeable on my face
- the tinted sunblock is able to hide alittle bit of my flaws and scars, at the same time correct discoloration
- my pores appear less visible after application
- the beige appears to be slightly lighter than my skin tone
- feels moisturising on my skin
- it works as a sunblock, a makeup base as well as a light coverage foundation
- appear very glossy on my skin after application
- although the face looks very glossy and dewy, it doesn't feel greasy
- the gloss can be covered up just by applying loose powder over it
- will not leave a streak
- face overall look slightly fairer & brighter
- feels thick and will turn greasy if applied too much, therefore can only apply a thin layer of it
- doesn't shifts my makeup after wearing for the whole day
- the SPF 50+ PA+++ is ok for me as I don't stand under the sun for long hours now
- the product may get slightly messy as it ooze out from the cushion when pressed, I will clean the compact every time after I use it
- after about 20 uses, the product can no longer be picked up by the sponge even if I press it real hard
- one downside is that the product is very little, it's only 10grams
- doesn't irritate my skin


Here shows empty in the middle and all the leftovers are at the circumference of the cushion. The sponge also got pretty messed up. (hahax~^-^") I will usually wrap tissue over the sponge to squeeze out the excess sunblock so the sponge will remain dry after using.
My idea now is to use tweezers to dig the cushion out and flip it over because there are still some product on the bottom. If I can do that, I think it can still serve me for another 10 uses? ^_^

Overall, I like using the Natural Sun AQ Smart Cushion as I can use it to slightly cover up my flaws and at the same time provide good sun protection (kinda like a BB cream yah?). The sponge is useful because it will not make my hands messy, although it did messed up the sponge and the compact, so all I need is to spend a little time cleaning them.
With this sunblock, I can just apply a layer of it and loose powder over it then head out to nearby malls. ^_^

Following the success of FACE it Lesson 01, THEFACESHOP now introduces part 2 of this limited edition series, FACE it Lesson 02!

Korean celebrity makeup artist, Son Dae Sik, has once again collaborated with THEFACESHOP to bring you another exciting line of makeup. This time round, FACE it Lesson 02 focuses on achieving a K-Pop Star look! If the Korean wave has overwhelmed you, this has to be in your “must-have” list!

Firstly, curl your lashes using FACE it Lesson 02 Artist Eyelash Curler. Asians typically have less deep set of eyes compared to Westerners, thus, not all eyelash curlers can do the job. Artist Eyelash Curler, designed to fit the length and curves of Asian eyes, can safely lift and curl the shorter, more inaccessible eyelashes at the inner and outer corner of eyes. The power-controlling spring hinge and resilient silicon pad create attractive curling effects without crimping to maximize mascara effects.

Really really slim! Good to bring along when traveling.



FACE it LESSON 02 Slim Volume Mascara
Has the exact same exterior as the Slim Long Mascara however its brush applicator is different.



FACE it LESSON 02 Artist Eyelash Curler
Consist of a curler and a silicon pad refill.

It has a plastic gripper on the curler's handles, remove it when using.

When the gripper is removed, the curler handles bounced apart quickly due to the strong spring at the hinge.

The handles fit my fingers ergonomically, especially the extra support it gives to my ring finger. This is the way one should hold the curler. Note that the pink curvy thing located at my index also provides my finger some friction and support so that the curler will not slip off my finger when I'm using it.


FACE it LESSON 02 Radiance Make up Fixer
This is a makeup fixer mist spray that's to be used as the last step of makeup. Can be used as often as you like to keep the radiant look.

12 months of shelf-life after opening.

Pretty big bottle of makeup fixer spray! Probably the biggest bottle I'd own so far~

Swatches: 24h Cosme, Laura Mercier, The Body Shop & Urban Decay Foundations

Today I'm just doing some random swatches of a few foundations I own and a short introduction of the Japanese makeup brand - 24h Cosme.

The Laura Mercier & The Body Shop foundations are gifts from +everbluec chantana and 24h Cosme is a free gift from the CUTIE Magazine.

About 24h Cosme
This is the CUTIE Magazine which I bought months ago at a discounted price @ Kino and it's an old issue from 2012. I got this as I wana try the 24h Cosme 24h powder foundation which comes with the it. ^_^ I always love checking out Japanese indie makeup brands and I got to know about 24h Cosme  from Vivi magazines that I read. There was so much raves about this foundation in the magazines!
During my mid year 2012 Japan trip I didn't buy it cos I kinda find it a little high priced, coming to SGD$80 (4,980 円) for a set of case+refill. Its price is like counter brands' foundation but infact 24h Cosme can be found easily at any cosmetic shops.

This is the 24h Cosme 24h Powder Foundation SPF 15 PA++ in Shade 02 sample. Polka dot acrylic case! Sho cute huh!~


The 24h Cosme website~ They got guys as their endorsers... (*∇*) and girls too of course. ^-^ The highly raved products in the magazines are often the 24h powder foundations and concealers. Oh and did I also mention that their 24h cover stick foundation costs the same as their powder foundation? Well, yah its also sold at 4,980 円. (o.o")

Total 7 shades available. #02 is the most popular shade, it is light beige sitting inbetween the pink & yellow undertone category. #B2 would probably match me well as yellow undertone foundation suits my skin tone.

I do not know what shade Laura Mercier's is, if not wrong I think it is Nude shade.
*Apologies for all the typo error in the names.. it should be 24h Powder Foundation (not 24hr) and Creme Compact (not Creme Foundation). I think my mind just drifted somewhere when I was editing the pics. hahax~

I have the 3 foundations compared with Urban Decay NAKED SKIN #3.0 because that is what I always use. It matches my skin really well and makes it look brighter. I compare them because I wanted to know if the other foundations are gonna be too light, too dark, or too pink for my skin.

 
The Body Shop All in One Face Base #03 is obviously too white for a medium fair asian skin.
24 Cosme 24h Powder Foundation blends in pretty well, not so powdery like TBS's but it make my skin look a little dull because it has a little pink tone in it. I will be posting up a LOTD with this 24h Cosme foundation soon. Pls stay tune! ^_~
Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturizer Creme shade looks alright, but really streaky before blending.


Now for Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturizer vs Urban Decay NAKED SKIN.

Actually that's not really a great comparison because Laura Mercier's is very sheer, almost look like there's no foundation but its pretty moisturizing and has a light dewy finish. Wherelse Urban Decay NAKED SKIN has medium coverage and has matte finish.
In the above pictures, the 2 shades look very close before I blend out the LM Tinted Moisturizer. After blending out, you can see LM nude shade is still darker than UD #3.0. LM is beige with a little bit pink tone and UD has yellow undertone.
When I apply LM Tinted Moisturizer on my face, my face turns dull and dark. I quite like using tinted moisturizer and sunblocks (they kinda feel like BB creams) but it's always hard to find a shade that match my skin. 
LM however have this in 12 shades so I guess I could find one that would match mine? ^_^

LOTD: May 2013 Look of the Day (Ft. MUFE, 24h Cosme, TheFaceShop, Dolly Wink~)

So long ago since my last LOTD! (Since when? I forgot... haha~)
In this pic I look like I just woke up ya.. I'd been 'stranded' at home for months now nursing my foot so the black hair grow and grow and I'm in this state now. Because I have a oily scalp and hair, so it looks flat when my 'virgin' hair grows out. Time to bleach and dye it so I can have voluminous hair again!~

- Dolly Wink Pencil EyecolorDrawn on the inner corner of my lower lashline
I said I'll be swatching the Dolly Wink Pencil Eyecolor in my Comic Fiesta post so here it is!

Dolly Wink Pencil Eyecolor Swatch
Initially mistaken this as a white eyeliner, later found out it's a light gold pencil! LOVE IT!♥^_^(I love anything gold lolx~) It can also be used as eyeshadow color~ It is quite hard to remove after the pigments settled. Slightly creamy, doesn't smudge but it does make fine links and crepey skin looks slightly obvious.


How I do my make up: Start with Base
Of course not by *raise up hands and open palms* shouting "MAKEUP!" *glitters flying all around me and my makeup face is done*. That's Sailormoon style, not mine. hahhaax~
Firstly I use the tinted sunblock - TheFaceShop Natural Sun AQ Smart Cushion as a base & sunblock. 
Conceal with my under eyes concealer and face concealer with Laura Mercier Secret Concealer and top with a light layer of MAC Studio Finish NC20 to have the under eyes closer to my skin tone. (Step by step on how to conceal the under eyes)
Using a point concealer brush I conceal my scars and inflammation with Shu Uemura Pro Gel Cealer.
Then I applied 24h Cosme 24h Powder Foundation over it. I didn't use a lot for the foundation. I patted a layer of the powder lightly with the sponge provided, concentrating on areas where I have dark spots and my under eyes (dark circles) as I don't want it to be too thick. The coverage was pretty good. It has a matte finish and it's beige in tone. Not really my shade but a light layer of it works fine for my skin tone.

Eyebrow
I love using Heavy Rotation eyebrow products, so I decided to show my eyebrow using both the Heavy Rotation powder eyebrow & eyebrow mascara.
First I draw the brow shape with the powder eyebrow, mainly using the middle shade and alittle of the darker shade at the ends. Lightest shade goes to the front part near my nose.
After that I coat my brow hair with the coloring eyebrow (I call it brow mascara since the applicator is like a mascara). The ash brown shade conceals my black hair and tone the colour down a bit.

EOTD
Subtle pinkish coral eyes are what I'm looking for, so I used similar colours from the base to highlight & eyeshadow colour.
Palgantong Brillant Jelly Shadow as the base because it doesn't cause creases on my eyes when I apply powder eyeshadow over it. Plus, its little rainbow glitters are very pretty~
Next I applied Majolica Majorca eyeshadow all over the lid.
Then using the light shade of Maybelline HyperCosmos Duo palette for highlighting the inner corner of my eyes to brighten them up, and the coral shade to line along the upper & lower lash line.
A perfect eye makeup is not finished withouteyeliner and mascara!
I used DASODA SJ Real Liquid Liner for eyeliner on my upper lashline. And using CLIO Gelpresso Pencil Gel Liner Mini in Golden Black for bottom lashline. I draw it half way and then fill in the inner tear duct area with the light gold Dolly Wink Pencil Eyecolor.
Lastly using the Sguard ROCK ON Waterproof Vibrating Mascara for both my upper and lower lashes. As I have like almost no bottom lashes (they are very super fine and short!) so the mascara didn't go on well.

Lips
I applied Shu Uemura PK 339 all over and smear a little Enesti Bisou Bisou lip gloss (peach shade) at the center of my lips. Lipgloss colour is not obvious, it just make my lips look slightly glossy.

Blush & Face Contour
I applied Diamond Beauty Cream Cheek Strawberry Pink (it's a very pretty candy pink!) on my cheeks with a finger by dabbing motion and blending it out so it won't look too focused at one area. Brush on MAC Blush Powder over the cream cheek lightly for a soft blushing cheeks look. Sometimes I would also brush across my nose bridge so that I look like I really am blushing or look like I just got a tiny sunburn on my nose. Lolx~
Nose contour using Diamond Beauty Diamond Nose Makeup light brown at the sides of my nose bridge. Then apply tiny bit of white with finger on the flattest area of my nose (mine is the area in between my eyes). I don't apply it all the way down because it will highlight the large pores that I have on my nose. By applying it on the flattest part will make it stand out like the rest of the nose bridge.
Face contour using MUFE (Make Up For Ever) Sculpting Kit brown along my jawlines and hairlines to make my face shape look more 'V'. I use the white highlight on the apple of my cheeks to brighten it up little. I don't use cream type of highlights or those that are too glittery because it will also make my enlarged pores look very obvious and my face look oilier. I find that the MUFE Sculpting Kit highlight powder is very fine with light satin finish and it doesn't enhance the look of my enlarged pores at all. I think I just found my dream face highlight! ^_^
The very last step is, spraying TheFaceShop Radiance Make up Fixer on my face and I'm all done!

Mimi's new custom made scratch post from LazyCatLady

This post is about none other than my pet cat, Mimi...... 's scratch post. Hahha~

This is ze new scratch post and Mimi. 
Mimi & his "I AM STUNNED" look. (^⊙∧⊙^)

Left is the custom made scratch post ordered from LazyCatLady which is 90cm tall. Right one is Mimi's old scratch post bought from Pet's station which is about only 50cm tall.

Story of the scratch post
I had been looking for a tall scratch post for Mimi since like eons ago. I went through catalogues of cat scratch posts in different pet stores and didn't find one that has a tall single pole scratch post. More often than not, they usually have an additional platform at 50cm tall and then another post extending out from that platform. Those are not the one I wanted because Mimi have outgrown his existing 50cm tall scratch post. It was difficult for him to scratch well if the post has this darn platform blocking his head. Moreover, a 50cm tall post usually cost me about SGD$50~70 depending on the design. For a 100cm tall scratch post (with a redundant platform in the middle) usually costs SGD$100~$120. I find that was not really worth my money if it doesn't help Mimi to scratch well.
One day, I was browsing cats pictures in my Facebook and I came across the LazyCatLady page. I saw that she provides custom made cat towers, made by her 80 years old super grandpa. (Omy 80 yrs old! *claps*)
And so I contacted her via FB asking for a quote for 90cm tall single post with base platform of 40cm x 40cm & sisal rope wrap. She quoted me at an AMAZING price of SGD$50 with self pick up! Woots! I threw confetti all over the place. *~*~\(^∇^)/~*~*~ Lolx~
She was also very kind to inform me that base on her experience, it is hard to transport a tall scratch post all the way from town to home, so she offered to deliver to my home with an additional $10 charge. I thought, why not! It's still cheaper than a 100cm cat tower selling outside yah? ^_^
 
 And so, here's the new TALLLLLLLLL scratch post which I received from LazyCatLady at my doorstep.

When I took out Mimi's old and super ruined scratch post to the middle of the living room, he followed it and sat beside it. Guess he got a sentimental attachment to his old post. lolx~

I took his play toy to lure him to his new scratch post. And rubbed cat nip on the ropes.

Now, look at him! He can extend his back to the fullest! And even climbed up to the top~ That's how long and big he is.. He can easily touch anybody's waist if he stands up. ^_^

It's been 3 months since he started using the scratch post and now, it is still in good condition! I got a message from LazyCatLady asking whether the scratch post is still fine now cos she can fix it up for me if there's anything spoilt. She really provides good service, I love it. ^_^
The next thing that I may order from LazyCatLady probably would be a feeding station for both my dog (Baby) and cat (Mimi). ^∇^~ Happy pets, Happy owner!


Something extra... 
Mimi and his cardboard crocodile partner.... which was already shredded into pieces and dumped. Lolx~ Poor croc.

Cure Festival Singapore 2013 at DBS Marina Regatta

I know I'm super late at posting this... but if anyone of you doesn't know about this event yet and happen to chance upon this post, do join in this wonderful Singapore cosplay event happening at Waterfront Promenade, Marina Bay tomorrow!~


The DBS Marina Regatta is pleased to have Cure Cosplay Festival Singapore sharing in the vibrancy and fuelling the dynamism of the Regatta and Marina Bay on 18 May.

Cure Cosplay Festival at DBS Marina Regatta promises to be a colourful and eye-opening event, with more than 100 cosplayers expected to showcase the artistry and talents of the Cosplay community to the public.
