Shopping at Zalora Fashion Outlet

I'd mentioned in my previous post about Zalora's new Outlet page and today, I shall bring you through some of the items I'd spotted in this fashion outlet! ^_^

 Under Women's section, there are items from brands such as River Island, Mango, EZRA by Zalora going at really low low prices.

Within the categories I could still filter them by showing the most lowest priced item first. At the look of the prices I went /(OoO)\ "OMG So Cheap?!".

For the Men's section, there are many items going at 80% off for the brand ATYPICAL and 40% for brands like Miguel Vieira and ALDO. I specially like the mens shoes they look so cool looking! Do check them out~

Ok, let's get back to Women's section... Well, I'm a woman so of course I gota talk more about women's needs.... like women's clothes & shoes? hehex~ ^,^ There are more than 4 hundred items in Zalora fashion outlet under the Women's section for us to shop! Awesomeness!

While monitor-shopping around, I thought of looking at the shoes section. I need more shoes as most of my older ones were spoilt thus I'm aiming to get some from the fashion outlet this time!

There are several designs from different brands, many are flats and there are also sandals, heels, wedges, platforms and even sneakers! Shoes section probably take a larger portion in fashion outlet. If you want to look for cheap and pretty shoes, go to Outlet to check for good deals first! ^_^

I'd spotted several items that interest me! First one up is EDGE Sonya Elastic Gladiator Sandals. It's pink, it's flat, it's stappy! My kind of shoes. ^.^

Next up from Velvet. Elegant looking ivory Cut-out Embroidered flats~ It look as good as a pair of wedding shoes! Sho pretty can~

I can never get enough of strappy nude heels like this pair from BETSY. Not many sizes are available for the items listed in fashion outlet so do check the sizes out before you favourite them!

Event & Review: TruLife Ready-To-Drink Supplements

I can still catch a brief whiff of the smell of fish and the drink leaves my mouth with a little fishy aftertaste. Even so, out of the 3 supplements, I still like the taste of Collagen Cell Renew best. Probably because I had gotten used to eating and drinking collagen supplements. ^,^ Best to drink it chilled (refrigerated).


Berry EyeHealth
TruLife Berry EyeHealth is a concentrated dietary supplement drink developed specially for all your eye health needs. To be frank, I don't really like the taste of wolfberries though I do eat them sometimes as I know that they contain lots of benefits.
So I prefer to drink it chilled as it leaves a nice sweet aftertaste.


Herbal System

To be honest, I had a hard time downinng the Herbal System Detox supplement because it has a rather strong herbal smell and taste which I can't really figure out what they are. There are herbs that I love eating/tasting but there are also a bunch of herbs that I really don't like. You know the time you go 'arghhkkk' when you really had to drink a bowl of herbal soup that you dislike... yeah that's the feeling. This drink isn't bitter like the traditional chinese herbal soup or medication (actually I prefer bitter stuffs). It actually taste kinda salty and sweet and I could also taste a little prune too (couldn't catch the green tea taste though). It's hard for me to say it in words moreover I'm bad at describing tastes (lolx~). Only for this supplement, I will need to drink it with plain water. Drinking the supplement in one gulp and then drink a cup of plain water to wash off the after taste. Yeah, that's my method to down it. Not too bad I must say, drinking more plain water is good too! hahax~ ^__^

Herbal System Detox Review
For this box of 10s Herbal System Detox supplement, I will need to complete it in 10 days. Meaning 1 bottle for 1 day, preferably drink it before the first meal of the day.

The packaging shows the 6 natural active ingredients used in Herbal System Detox and the benefits of each ingredient listed.

The packaging also list out the precautions that need to be taken when/before consuming the supplement.

Expiry date stamped on bottom of box packaging.

For safety purposes, the 10 bottles are packed separated with use of cardboard papers inbetween them.
During the 10-day course of consuming the Herbal System Detox (or rather, more than 10 days as I had skipped a few days inbetween), I feel that:
- there isn't any changes to my bowel movement for the first 3 days
- I continously drank the supplement for 5 days before stopping for a day and continued after that
- digestion system seems to become smoother as  my bowel movement was super smooth on the 4th day and onwards
- experience less constipation
- my tummy had became flatter (quite a lot actually) while I'm half way through the 10-day course
- stomach feels really light and experience no feeling of wind or indigestion
- tend to eat lesser for every meal
- no feeling of hungriness, the urge to go or whatsoever after consuming the supplement
The supplement already worked on me and results already could be seen and felt on the 5th bottle. I could feel that my tummy was so much lighter and I felt happier too having smooth bowel movement everyday. It's even better when I exercised during the period I consume Herbal System Detox. ^_^
Though I did skipped a couple of days but I went back taking the supplement again. There wasn't any significant difference felt during that few days. But of course, the supplement is still recommended to be completed within 10 days.

Bird's Best Sugar-Free actually still taste a tiny bit sweet and doesn't taste weird without the rock sugar. So to me, this is really nice as I always find those with rock sugar are often too sweet for my liking. For those who want to go for less sugar stuffs, do try out this one!

My Lovely Haul: Fashion & Beauty

I'm happiest when come to blogging about my purchases. ^___^ *big grin* There's nothing compared to owning something that you really want! Fufufufu~
Ok, let's get started!

First up, hair accessories from Helen!
I patron their store quite frequently especially the one located near my home. Every now and then, I'll take a peek at their newest collection and see if there's anything I like. More often than not, I didn't buy their latest collection. I would roam a few rounds in their store and get the items from their older collection. BUT! This past week, they had released a collection that's sooooooooo cute! 
They brought in glossy lookin' acrylic rose and ribbon hair accessories and they are in polka dots!
Below are my picks. They also have a range in leopard prints. LOVEeeee it so much! ^,^ Moreover it's my birthday month so I got to buy it at 20% off! ^_^



Next is a random magazine get at Kinokuniya and thanks to Selphie's membership card, extra discount again!
This magazine Non-no is actually targeted to girls somewhat younger than my age.. I mean, for teens. lolx~
Why I bought this is because of the pink-navy blue tartan canvas handbag from Snidel! Another happy happy buy!~ (Snidel is Japanese fashion brand) The bag is sturdy, thick and could stand on it's own. I could even put in a A4 size folder and it still stands up pretty firmly.

I had been looking for a pair of comfortable black flats and I chanced upon this brand at OG name mezzy may. The moment I tried out their shoes, I felt my feet are on clouds! They are so comfy and the insoles has this cushion thing that reduces the impact to my feet when I walk in them. I googled to look for more mezzy may shoes but apparently I think it's not a well known brand and I couldn't get a view of their catalog or watsoever. Sigh~ I would definitely go back to OG again to check out their other designs. ^_^
Oh, and this pair of flats retails at about S$40-ish and again, I bought it during sales so I paid only $30-ish. ^^

Check out their sole! Unique eh?  It doesn't have any acupuncture effect on my feet, it just helps reduce the impact.

I can never be satisfied with my current wardrobe of tights. So yeah, I bought a bunch again from online and all these only cost me about S$50. hehehex~ ^o^  Check out the cute horsey and cage embroidery!

The bottom right are a bunch of what known as invisible socks. It is by far the best seamless invisible socks I had bought. They does not show at all when worn under my flats or shoes (thus invisible) and they never slip off my feet because they have this transparent rubber that sits at the back of the heels when worn. I tried a pair of black socks and I SUPER LOVE it so I got another 5 pairs more! They have them in nude, tan and black. Best socks buy eva! ^___^v~

Here comes my beauty haul~
First up is Avene Thermal Sping Water (Buy 1 get 1 free @150ml) for S$29.90 if I'm not wrong.. ^_^" Got it at Watsons. I had rather irritable skin lately plus the aircon at workplace is making my face dry so I thought of placing a bottle of face mist at work to constantly hydrate & calm my skin. When I feel hot and sweaty, the spray mist also helps make my skin feel cool and the skin temperature to drop so I won't look so warm and flushed.

I got Kose Sekkisei Clear Cleansing Oil at Metro for S$39. Reason being I had finished my Kose Seikisho Perfect Cleansing Oil and I like it because it cleanses very well and my skin didn't experience much inflammation or clogged pores from using it. When re-purchasing it at Metro, I then later realised I gotten a different cleansing oil. Blur me~ Lolx.. ^-^\* Nonetheless, I shall try out this one and see if it differs from Seikisho. ^_^

I had been using Black Paint for months and I really really REALLY LOVE IT, because it helped me to clear ALL my inflammations, pimples, oil spots, clogged pores and all the gunk on my face leaving it clear and smooth. (Review will be up soon) Thus I went to Takashimaya to purchase the Best Water and Water Cream as I'd emptied these 2 first. Besides that, I also purchased my holy grail fresh Sugar lip treatment. Instead of buying the one with SPF, I thought I could try the advanced therapy instead. I had already started to use it and man, it's darn good too! I use this as my night lip treatment since I'll be sleeping so I don't need the SPF.

If you had gone to Takashimaya lately, you would know that there's a sale that went on for a couple of days. I was there too on the 4th day of sale when the crowd wasn't that crazy. I kinda prepared myself for not being able to find the things I want since most stocks would have been gone. But Nope. I'm lucky to get my hands on a lovely stainless steel La Gourmet Thermal Flask (I thought of buying Tiger brand but it's kinda expensivve. *pouts*) and also S$59 Covermark Moisture Veil LX foundie set. Covermark sells the refill alone at S$59 but I got it at S$59(less 10%) in addition, throw in a foundie case and a travel size cleansing milk.
What makes me happier is that all these items have an additional 10% off because I'm a Taka member card holder! Woots~ Happy 到~~~
On top of these, my man also got me a present from Carlo Rino handbag which has 20%+10% discount (more like I asked him to get me one.. lolx~^,^) so you can imagine how much I'd saved from buying all these! ^^ I shall not miss any Taka sales from now on! (Will be posting Carlo Rino handbag seperately)


Well, isn't this a lovely haul post? Almost all of the items I bought are really LOVEEEeee~ x infinity. I can't be anymore happier than buying these lovely stuffs at cheaper prices! (ohh.. why am I so cheapskate? lolx~)

Event & Contest: NUXE Limited Edition Huile Prodigieuse

This 2 weeks Nuxe is having an event at Robinsons The Heeren to commemorate the launch of Huile Prodigieuse and Huile Prodigieuse OR as well as in search of a brand ambassador, Miss Prodigieuse.

The event displays Nuxe's limited edition Huile Prodigieuse & Huile Prodigieuse OR.

Regional Education Manager  for APAC, Ryan Lau was there to give beauty tips of how to use Huile Prodigieuse and apply it with our makeup. During the session, I learnt the basic method of applying the dry oil on the hair was to spray onto the palm (I usually do that too, instead of spraying directly to my hair) and then spread it onto both hands and fingers first before lightly sweeping it through the hair ends. This way the dry oil would not appear too concentrated at one area and neglect the other parts of the hair.

Zalora x Vans Sneakers

If you had seen photos of my OOTDs and WIWTs, you would have guessed that I like wearing sneakers.
I often like to go for high-top ones as they could cover my skinny & boney ankles (becos I feel they're not pleasant to the eyes). I do own a few low-top ones before but had spoilt them since I wore them almost every single day at my previous workplace. So, there's only a few fair of high-tops sitting in my shoes closet and I was looking out for a new pair of low-top sneakers that could do a simple match to my pair of jeans.

At Zalora, listed many sneakers from various brands and one of the brand carries sneakers that fulfil my requirements is Vans.

Always liked the comfy fabric material used for sneakers and just by looking at these sneakers, my feet feel happy! *wiggles happy toes* I always find red sneakers pretty alluring (lolx~)... be it men or women wearing them!

Even though there were more than 20 designs, but there weren't much choices under the Women's category for me to pick. However if one wears a large shoe size (eg 24.5cm or longer), one could opt to go for the Men's sneakers. Do remember to check the feet length to get the correct shoe size. Men and Women shoe charts differ thus it is important for us to know our feet length first. For mine, I'm 24.5cm and I could wear slightly larger for sneakers (EU38.5/EU39). Big is better than small since we now have insoles and what not to fill in the empty spaces! ^,^

Alrighty, here are the ladies sneakers! I likeeeee the red one! I so wished they have more designs for me to choose! (>w<)


Since there aren't much ladies sneakers, I shall screen cap the ones I like over at the men's section.
Teal is really not bad!

It was my first time visiting SK-II Boutique Spa by Senze Salus, it was at the newly refurbished Shaw Centre located at the urban hotspot, Orchard Road.
For the past ten years, Senze Salus was actually housed in one of the black-and-white bungalows along Scotts Road. Now with a bigger, more modern premises, Senze Salus could bring SK-II experience closer to their customers and continue to provide the miracle of SK-II in the private sanctuary of a spa with elegant contemporary décor and a host of value added amenities.

Upon entering the boutique spa, I was greeted by a spacious SK-II beauty bar at the lounge area with various SK-II products which were available for guests' sampling.

Here shows the entrance of the boutique spa. Many congrats on the opening of their new flagship outlet! ^_^

Looking out from inside the lounge area, I could see the main corridor through the clear glass windows and entrance which made the whole place look even wider and spacious. ^-^

Ladies playing the Japanese Koto (Gu Zheng). The sound coming out from the koto is soooo crisp and clear. I really liked the music they played, the sound came out so perfect that I thought it was played from the CD. ^_^

On the other side of the lounge area, placed several portraits of Senze Salus' regular customers.
An interesting concept of showing photos of their customers at their opening. Perhaps you would get to see one of them when you visit the spa. ^_^

After looking around the lounge area, I was invited to enter the private consultation room where the consultant would use the latest SK-II Skin Analysis Tool on me.

This wasn't my first time doing the skin analysis test. But no harm doing it again so that I could see how's my skin been doing lately, which... I kinda already knew that it's not doing really well because I'd been hit by another round of skin rash (red inflammation with white pus). ^^"
Anyhoo, here's the result of the test.

Like I'd predicted, it's not as good as the previous time but still ok since I'm older than 30.... *shys* (//^,^//)  The texture % is lower than the rest mainly because of the skin rash.
The consultant said that customers who came here for treatments would have their skin analysis done twice, once before and once after the treatment, without the makeup of course. ^-^

After the skin analysis, I was introduced to view the remaining rooms. Near to the consultation room is the vanity room with 2 powder stations equipped with hair dryers and complimentary base make-up.

How awesome is this?! ^_^ Not many spa would provide make up in their vanity room for customers to use before leaving.

There are a total of 12 treatment rooms equipped with the guests’ favorite Senzational Beds. And here's one room which has natural sunlight coming in from behind the blinds.

Next, I'd was ushered to get a hand treatment done in one of the treatment rooms.
 
Hand massage treatment was done using the geranium palmarosa rose otto oil.

Therapist applied and massaged the oil on both of my very dry arms and I really enjoyed the quick hand massage session. After that, my hands felt really soft and didn't feel greasy at all. I had a great time talking to her as well, Senze Salus staff are really courteous and nice to chat with. ^_^ Thank you for the 5-star service!

Belif x My Cozy Room Event: Experiencing 9 Miracles Of Peat

Hey all! It's been awhile since I last blogged. I had been packed with lots of family events followed up with beauty events which made me stopped blogging for almost a month! Now that all are over (almost), I shall get back up and start blogging again. Pls bare with me as I try my very might to bring you reviews, products & X'mas launches (as well as my slimming post! hehex~). ^_^

As for today, I'm going to tell you about belif's relatively new skincare name the Peat Miracle Revital range. It was introduced quite long ago with 3 products - Serum concentrate, Eye cream and Cream. And this time, belif launched a new Peat Miracle Revital Mask to go side by side with their sisters (or brothers? lolx~).

It was my first time visiting My Cozy Room, and I must say the place is really nice! ^_^ belif's setup blends in perfectly with their interior.

Here's the belif basic skincare range.

And here's the belif Peat Miracle Revital skincare range. Wonder why is it 9 miracles of Peat? The pic below explains everything! Peat extract is actually found in the Peatlands, an old secret formula which Ancient Egyptians and Romans used for skin protection. In Peatlands, more than 80 kinds of herbs have been deposited with uncontaminated ice water and preserved over the last thousands of years to become the prime source of herbal energy. Til now, the Finnish people still use mud packs and toners formulated with peat extract to maintain their youthful skin.
So isn't it great that belif brings Peat extract nearer to us so we could also have the chance to try them too? ^,^


belif brought us to My Cozy Room was not just to enjoy the ambience but to also enjoy facial spa. The room was pretty dark when I entered actually and I almost felt like I can sleep anytime...zzZ

*opps* for my messy towel.. The bed is pretty soft and nice to... sleep in. hahax~

Ok and now I'm going to show my almost bare face (with minimum makeup on). It's not looking good because I have really oily skin on my T-zone, cheeks & laugh lines, have rough skin, large pores and I suffered dry & itchy patches around my lips and chin area (the rough bumpy spots).
Here's what was used on my face during the facial:

During the belif Peat Miracle Revital facial spa, I requested not to have the facial scrub near the dry patches as I was afraid the skin may break out even further.
Then the most awesome time came... Peat Miracle Revital Mask-ing (plus sleeping time). I thought that clay mask would cause my skin to feel dry after application but I was wrong. Apparently after cleansing off the clay mask, my skin still felt hydrated and it turned smoother. It even calmed down the patch of sensitive skin which I suffered for about a week. I am really surprised!

Here shows swatch of the Peat Miracle Revital Serum Concentrate which was used on my face after masking, and on the right is the Mask.

After the facial, my skin is glowing and felt smoother. T-zone oiliness minimised.

The next day... but of course with makeup and little camera filter on..(totally don't look like above m, power of hair style & makeup! lolx~) my face looks pretty smooth and matte. Filtered photo aside, my experience was that the itchy dry patch around my lips and chin totally flattened out as I had mentioned in my Instagram. I am totally loving the immediate effects the facial spa had brought me. In addition, there was no other products or equipments used ontop of all belif skincare products. How can I not love Peat Miracle Revital Mask you tell me? I now use it every week to control my T-zone sebum production plus boost my skin's turnover rate so my skin won't look so tired.

Event & Promo: My First Digital Perm @ Queen Kelly Hair Salon

Yes, it is my first hair perm.. Not a DIY kinda perm but really a permanent perm! ^,^
You might have seen this photo I posted on my Instagram... And in this blog post, I'm going to talk more of my experience at Queen Kelly Hair Salon as well as posting more photos for all of you to see. ^_^

Here's Queen Kelly Hair Salon @ Holland Drive. They have another outlet at Fajar Road too and that's their first outlet. This one I went is their 2nd one. 

Queen Kelly interior...

This is their consultation room where they do scalp analysis. 

On their desk of the consultation room placed several products which Queen Kelly offers to their customers.

They also have 2nd level! I thought that 2nd level are mostly storerooms... But they turned them into a relaxing hair spa room. Room is actually pretty dark when curtains are drawn and it has a cosy ambience due to the sound of soft waves playing in the background.

At every mirror sticked a note to remind their customers that Queen Kelly offers free scalp scanning service. Pretty noticeable once I sat down on my chair. 

OK, before I begin, I shall show you my before selfie... 
Bangs, straight hair that feels a little stiff and pretty dry due to constant bleaching at the hair ends. However my hair is pretty volumnising at bottom part of my hair (from ear down). Before curling, I was hoping to have the upper part to be curled a little so it will look volumnised too just like the bottom.. Not sure if this is do-able.. ^_^" (has no knowledge abt digital perm!)

First, the hairstylist brought 2 curling agents to show me. It was Shiseido Professional Step 1 Creator Qurl lotion and Step 2 Neutralizing Lotion. Step 1 was to apply on all of my hair to allow the hair strands to turn soft and hydrated so that it could withstand the heat during the perm process. And Step 2 was to none other than keeping those curls and making them last long.

Start of the hair perm process. First by trimming away my frizzy hair ends and snip off the bleached area.

After which hair was applied with the Creator Qurl Lotion.

Including applying onto fringe and top area.

Awaiting for the lotion to work its magic. It took about 20 mins for my hair to turn soft & tender enough to proceed to the next step.

For the next step, the lotion was washed off and then the perming started. Hair were rolled up and tied with bands, the rollers were plugged to connect to the perming equipment.

This is how the digital perm machine look like.

With the protective layers, the heat didn't hurt my scalp thus I didn't felt that it's hot or anything. Just a little warm. No burnt smell or whatsoever too. Oh, and my bangs weren't curled.. I wonder was it because it's too short? (o_O)

Rollers rollers and more rollers~

Once the heating process ended, the digital rollers were replaced by the plastic ones and the hairstylist soaked my hair with Creator Qurl 2 Neutrilizing Lotion. Then we waited again....
By the way there was this interesting 'cup' around my neck to hold the dripping lotion from my hair... Spot the grey 'cups' on my shoulders. ^_^

Once done, hair was washed again and finally the perming process ended. What's next was to see the result after blow drying!

And VIOLA!~

TADAH!!!~ Omy hair was so super curly!.. Actually my hair was applied with styling products too thus the curls stayed for the rest of the day.


When I got back home, I washed my hair again with my usual shampoo and applied volumnising hair conditioner. Hair ends look alittle messy in the below picture which I took the next day because I didn't use any hair styling products. I only use fingers to curl them inwards and blow dried them with medium heat.


When I had them tied up, my hair would look like this.... I had applied some hair products to make my fringe curled and volumnised so it would not be too flat (since my bangs weren't digital permed). The texture of my hair is really fine and pretty limpy thus I would need to curl my fringe every single time before I head out. Otherwise it would just look.... flat. Lolx~ While for the other parts of my hair, I had sprayed a little hair fixer and re-curled them so they could appear slightly more volumnised. I like how the hair around my side burn areas curl around my cheeks. With my former hair, I would usually try to curl them myself so they would appear tamed. This time round, I do not even need to curl them and they look natural & wavy which is also how I would like them to be in the first place. ^_^

When I style my hair using curling cream and hair dryer only... It looks like this.. It's more of a wavy hairstyle than a curly one. ^_^

Review: MU MIEUX Collagen Beauty Drink By Mary Chia

I'm happy to receive a box of MU MIEUX Collagen Beauty Drink from Mary Chia via Sample Store last year month. (Wow! It's 2015 already! ^o^) 

This pack of beauty drinks came right in time for me to prep myself for my brother's wedding. I consumed them in hope to plump up my skin and to 'anti-age' them so I would look good in the photos. hahax~ ^▽^

A box of MU MIEUX Collagen Beauty Drink contains 8 bottles in it. Ideally, one bottle a day thus one course would be completed by the 8th day.

Look at how the bottles are separated within the box. Separators are used to safeguard against breakage and spillage.

How to?
Firstly, I recommend product to be chilled before consumption. It tastes yummier when chilled. ^,^
Shake well before consumption; consume the entire bottle upon opening.
Consume 1 bottle per day, best before bedtime.
Not advisable to consume more than 1 bottle as excess Collagen consumed is generally not absorbed by the body and would be a waste of the Collagen product.


One bottle of MU MIEUX Collagen Beauty Drink is 50ml, pretty standard for a beauty drink as I can drink it in 2-3 gulps! Easy Peasy for me~~


Back of the bottle also indicates the directions for use as well as the ingredient list.

On the bottle cap stamped the Expiry Date, same as the box packaging.

When consuming, I feel that...
- the drink is pretty sour and sweet in both taste and scent
- a little apple taste to it
- personally feels that the drink is also a tad salty
- when I drink it in big gulps, it has a little fishy taste (not noticeable when I am sipping it though)
- not at all weird to my tastebuds, quite nice if consuming it as a before bedtime dessert (hehex~ ^_,^)
As I have visibly indented laugh lines, more like lack of elasticity in my cheeks that creates deep grooves along my smile lines therefore I observe & focus mostly around that area during the 8-day course of MU MIEUX beauty drink. I also compare my skin surface before & after by feeling it with my hands and here are my thoughts after consuming the 8 bottles of MU MIEUX Collagen beauty drink...
- skin still the same on the first 2 bottles
- my skin starts to become smoother (less rough) in texture by the 3rd bottle onwards
- there is no need for exfoliation at all during the week I consume these beauty drinks as I don't feel much rough spots on my skin
- feels that the skin turns a little plump (grooves at my laugh lines are also plumped up) and firm when I'm down with the last 2 bottles
- skin feels more hydrated, supple and less foundation trapped at my laugh lines
- less visibly dry wrinkled skin under my eyes
- skincare and foundation adheres easily and appear pretty even on my skin
- makeup last longer without cakeing
- interestingly, my skintone has somehow become lighter too by about 1 shade (I didn't expected that because I wasn't really paying attention to my skintone while consuming the beauty drinks, it kinda caught me by surprise)
- at the last bottle, my skin feels almost similar to the state when I'm at my 6th bottle 
- doesn't cause any allergies/ irritations
- my T-zone & cheeks secrete about same amount of sebum (still appear oily after makeup) but overall skin is considered more hydrated than before

Aside from the above, I would like to add that on normal days I don't eat very healthy but I do try my best to drink lots of water (some days I take lesser). I don't take much fruits or vege, again I try my very best to eat more.. and I sleep pretty late too, most of the time after midnight. I also pretty much like eating sugary stuffs, not sugar or sweets alone but more of chocolates, cookies, biscuits and.. stuffs. ^_^"
Because of my rather bad lifestyle habits so when I consume good stuffs, it shows up quickly on my body/ face. Many times I took healthy drinks/ food constantly for a week and results showed up immediately. Not to exaggerate but I noticed that is how my body seems to work.
Seeing people who are same age or older than me having really bouncy firm youthful skin makes me feel bad about my eating & sleeping habits. Perhaps that is the main reason why my skin loses elasticity and becomes saggy.
But with MU MIEUX Collagen Beauty Drink, I can beat those saggy skin at any point of time so I can appear as youthful as anyone else. ^_^

I guess some of you might had read or seen my post on my bro's wedding which I had spent the very last few weeks busy preparing myself & my parents ready for da big day. Preparing by means of buying new clothes, shoes, bags (or rather MY bag.. lolx), doing up our hair, nails and last but not least, going for facials so that we would look our best on that day (don't want to lose out to the bride & groom! kekekx~ =p).

And so I went ahead to book my appointment with My Cozy Room Spa. I had experienced once with them during the belif event and it was great which led me thinking of going back again to try out their My Seasonal Climate Facial Series.

Here I am, at My Cozy Room Boutique Spa. ^_^ (Omy this jacket make me look fat.. <_<)

My Floral Spring Stemcell Facial
At the beginning of the facial, the therapist did the following..
Step 1: Remove Eye & Lip Make-up
Step 2: Skin Analysis
The therapist mentioned that my skin was dry and at the same time produced quite alot of sebum due to the dehydrated skin surface. My pores were congested  too which made the pores look huge. I told her that I understood all these problems since it had always been like this on and off since many years ago and then she asked the following question that awed me. She asked if I had done any laser treatments. I told her I had done it in year 2013 to beginning of 2014 but I didn't know she would know just by looking at my skin. It's said that if one does laser, the amount of facial hair (mine is already almost invisible to begin with) would be lesser and skin surface would still remain smooth to touch despite that it look rough... which I totally agree for both points! The session had just begun and the therapist had totally won my heart ^_^.

Below shows a few close-up pics of my skin BEFORE the facial but with the makeup removed.

A big zit there around my mouth area! Ohh my I really hated that one, it was really painful when I touched it. U_U"

Whenever the therapist wanted to perform the next step of the facial, she would inform me of the product/s she's going to apply on my face and explained the purpose of using them... even when I was already asleep and probably snoring.. lolx~

Anyhoo, let's get on with the next step! ^_^
Step 3: Bi-Phase Deep Cleansing massage using BABOR 100-year patented cleansing oil ~ HyOL
Step 4: Bi-Phase Deep Cleansing using BABOR Phytoactive ~ Luxury Plant treatment essence
Step 5: Intensive Peeling using plant enzyme mask made from Papaya & Pineapple enzyme

*Unlike most places using scrub with harsh granules, we use Enzyme, a biological facial peel, that is intensive yet gentle on the skin. Does not cause mechanical irritations.
* It’s able to soften blackheads more effectively, push out impurities from inside.Suitable for sensitive/ blemished skin.

Step 6: Exfoliation of dead skin
Step 7: Steaming of face
Step 8: Perform Extraction for removal of blemishes

Below shows my skin AFTER performing the above mentioned 7 steps plus the extraction. These pics may look pretty gross or a little "bloody" for some of you but infact, I didn't feel any pain at all during the extraction. I liked the way the therapist did extraction for me, no pain on all areas except a little sore around nose which is usually common for me. I could even dozed off half way through extraction. (<_<")*sweats*




Next, steps for the rest of the facial are...
Step 9: Apply BABOR Rose Water (made from Bulgarian Black Rose)
Step 10: Eyebrow Shaping
For step 10, I skipped because I already had mine shaped prior to this facial.

Step 11: Eye Massage using Rose Quartz Crystals
Eye massage with the quartz crystals would had been my most happy time because it was so so soooo cooling! A little bit on the icy cold but it was really soothing~ I almost wished it could continue like for an hour.. hahahx.. ^o^"

Step 12: Anti-aging Facial Massage using customised BABOR moisturiser
*unlike most places, using massage cream which may clog the pores, My Cozy Room uses Moisturiser where the nutrients can be absorbed during the massage.
Step 13: Facial Treatment mask ~ Rose Mask *with real rose petals for ultra hydrating

All congested area cleared & flattened! Leaving just my old scars behind...

Old scars again... there wasn't any redness to be found from the extraction.

Last but not least, the session ends with an upper back & shoulder massage, and not forgetting the head too.
Step 14: Anti-stress Shoulder Massage
Step 15: Finishing with Toner, Moisturiser & Sunblock
I had to leave with a little sunblock because I'm skeptical of leaving house without one. Lucky that My Cozy Room also provide sunblock to their customers! ^_^

During the facial, I was introduced the BABOR Ampoule (Intense Balancing) which was optional to purchase but I went ahead anyways because I trust the therapist. (^,^) And indeed, I had found my skin benefited from the ampoule, in a way that my skin became balanced in hydration-sebum level, appeared clearer for a number of weeks and it had also helped built a stronger, resilient skin.

Event: My St Valentine's Xperience @ Sofitel So Singapore

Happy February everyone! 
Time flies~ Before I knew it, Valentine's Day is almost here!
Talking about Valentine's day, I just experienced a romantic (not with my man though.. hehex~) Valentine French cuisine at Xperience Restaurant @ Sofitel So Singapore.

Sofitel So Singapore is located at the heart of Singapore CBD, near Raffles Place as well as walkable distance from Tanjong Pagar.

Xperience Restaurant is just beside the lobby area, noticeable by anyone who walks in from the entrance.

Since I was the first person to arrive, I decided to take a couple (or more) photos of the restaurant. It's setting is nice and cosy despite area is not very spacious to my personal opinion.


This refrigerated wine cabinet is used to separate the main entrance from the dining area. At first I didn't notice that there was a wine cabinet here until I turned around from my seat. Pretty awesome to look at.

The kitchen area looked clean and neat!

Further in, I spotted LED light couches!

I was wowed by the gorgeous couches... They looked really comfy...

And now I'm back at my dining area, a long table filled with roses!

I could almost feel the love in the air! (again, even though my man wasn't with me that time.. hahax~)

After settling myself down, i waited for my drink to come.

Oh-So Romantic Valentine's Dinner
The Valentine dinner menu had been carefully thought and designed by the young, vibrant and dynamic Sofitel So's resident chef, Ms. Anne-Cecile Degenne.

Before the dinner commenced, I had a taste of the champagne. For info, I am a person who almost totally don't touch alcohol at all. But this! This really match up to my taste. But of course, I understand that this can't be compare with any other champagne that can be easily bought from elsewhere. I found myself sipping a few more times from the glass instead of the usual once, it didn't make me dizzy or red face since I didn't consume much.
The taste was rather sweet and left a pretty fresh aftertaste in my mouth too which was why the reason I liked it. ^,^

Besides the champagne, we were presented a basket of bread too. Oh, I must say I really love eating bread. How I wished I could finish them all but I refrained from the urge and just took a few small bites out of one slice.

With the bread was the cold smooth butter as well as what looked like olive oil. The bottle is so cute! 


Amuse-bouche, a "mouth amuser" came out as the first course. When accompanied by the complementing champagne, the taste was really great.
Even though I'm not an oyster lover, that didn't stopped me from taking this dish.

This cold dish was something I loved. I liked the mix of fresh crab meat, ginger sorbet and what looked like pomelo. It was exceptionally nice when I placed a little of everything on the spoon and took it in one bite. I had not tasted ginger sorbet before and all I could say is, it's really yummy! Who could have thought ginger sorbet taste so good?

When the grilled beef tenderloin was served, we went, "Yeah! Warm food!" Lolx..
The salsifies and asparagus were soft and a tad crunchy which makes it nice to bite on. Truffle sauce was very flavourful especially when I had it with the beef.

I reckoned that the tenderloin was rare or medium rare as it was really really tender and easy to chew and swallow. I finished it in no time!

Next up was the Sharing Dessert. Why the name sharing? It's easy to guess, because couples need to share.
It's not just about giving your love nice gifts but it's also about sharing and doing everything together to build a happier, stronger relationship. 

As I'm rather picky when comes to chocolate, I chose to have only the chocolate crust and mousse but I could still taste the sourish raspberry fillings. It was really nice to be able to share this dessert with the rest and we had a fun time breaking the crust so I believed it would be even more fun to do it with a partner. ^_^

Before the course ended, all ladies were pampered with pralines to make the season extra special.
