Event: SantaconSg Preview Party @ Boat Quay

Something awesome just happened down at Boat Quay last Friday! 

Many people dressed as Santa/Santarinas partied during the launch of the #SantaconSg and I was there too. Well, I'm not much of a party goer but I just went there to chill & relax at one corner with my bro & his gf~ lolx..

On 20th and 21st of December 2013, Boat Quay will be transformed into a joyful Santa’s headquarters as thousands of Santas and Santarinas will take over the riverfront. With the recent events that has happened in this little red dot, join in the song and laughter and let’s #PARTYASONE at the first ever SantaCon in Singapore with an array of activities at Boat Quay’s finest establishments this Christmas season.

SantaCon is an international festive phenomenon where revelers in cities around the world, gather and dress in Santa costumes to embark on a jolly excursion with singing and dancing performances. With roots in Denmark, SantaCon has been made popular and has become an annual fixture on the streets and bars of New York and San Francisco for decades.

Mr. Johnny Walker, the Managing Director, owner of Pacific Beverages and representative of the presenting sponsor Stella Artois added, “Stella Artois was first brewed in 1366 by brew master Sebastian Artois as a seasonal Christmas beer. Due to overwhelming response they decided to brew permanently and named it the Star of Artois. "Stella Artois", with its origins being a Christmas beer it is a perfect match for SantaCon Singapore.”

Miss Santabella Pageant

15 ladies will battle out to be the face of SantaCon Singapore by exhibiting their skills of knowledge,
beauty, talent – and ultimately, kindness. These contestants will compete to be Miss SantaBella 2013 and the chance to win Santa's heart. The crowned winners will take home fantastic prizes, including hampers by SaSa Cosmetics worth over S$1000.

Santa Crawl

Swirls & Twirl by Santarinas

Singapore’s version of the event will feature some unique twists and surprises – Boat Quay, Santa’s headquarters this festive season, will see Santa’s battalion of pole-dancing Santarinas from Bobbi’s Pole Studio, creating Santa’s sexiest grotto.

Last Stag Standing

I played Last Stag Standing during the preview party and I won twice! One was against my bro, we both like to play games that involves with buttons punching and fingers tapping~ ^_^ If you are like me, do join this competition to see if you really are as fast as you think!

Santa Hunt
Date: Saturday, 21st December 2013
Time: 11am – 7pm
Starting Point: Ticket Redemption Counter (please refer to contents inside goodie bag)
Set out on a Christmas-themed treasure hunt, as Santas make their way along the riverfront.
Receive a Santa Hunt card with a list of tasks and a stamp will be issued upon completion of each task. Complete all stops and stand a chance to away with limited edition Adidas Original X Jeremy Scott sneakers courtesy of sponsors Limited Edt, spa packages from Nimble/Knead worth over S$3000, professional Fischer Audio headphone sets and more.

Xmas Gig Guide

Expect guest DJ performances from both the local and international music scene, including celebrity blogger-model Peggy Heng, more affectionately known as DJ Dowager.
Music lovers also can check out one of the many live acts performing throughout Saturday, 21st December. From home-grown bands playing rock to contemporary pop to chart hits and even jazzy numbers, you will surely get on your feet once the music begins. There are also open mic sessions at certain places for aspiring musicians to croon and grab centre stage.

To enhance the Christmas spirit at all participating outlets, everyone will get to enjoy the irresistible
deal of a pint of Stella Artois beer and a shot of Jägermeister for just $10 during both days – it is
Christmas after all!
