Today, I'm going to review Make Up For Ever's newest eyeshadow palette - Midnight Glow Palette from the Midnight Glow Holiday Collection 2013 with 4 different EOTD/LOTD that I'd done recently~ ^_^
Packaging & Ingredients
Well as usual, showing the box packaging and what's written on them. ^_^ Every individual eyeshadow names are printed on the box.
At the back of the palette also indicates the eyeshadow names starting from (left to right) the Snow White, Gun Metal, Icy Blue, Icy Pink, 04 (Black), Gold Pink, Midnight Purple, 127 (Metallic Taupe).
Palette comes with 2 slim brushes.
All of them look shimmery except for black which is matte and metallic taupe which looks like matte but it isn't when swatched.
Swatch
Left half of the palette have shimmery pearl finish while right half of the palette are of a different finish. Black obviously is a matte eyeshadow & appear slightly powdery. Gold Pink is like the other 4, has a pearl finish. Midnight purple has a semi matte base with glittery finish and lastly the Metallic Taupe is well, metallic. ^_^

LOTD
For this simple look, I'm using mainly Gold Pink all over my lid and add a little bit of Icy Pink at the inner corner of my eyes and along my waterline (under the bottom lashes).
For aslightly more dramatic look, first I use Aqua Cream in Deep Iridescent Mauve #52, then apply black eyeshadow over it and lastly using Midnight Purple to add a little bit of sparkle. At the inner corner of my eyes, I applied Snow White to brighten up the eyes.
Moving on to a natural look, I used Metallic Taupe and applied a little bit of Gold Pink around the borders of Metallic Taupe and blend them together. I also used Gold pink at the inner corner of my eyes.
An overall LOTD for the natural look to match my outfit.
Lastly, a winter cool look that I would go for if I'm going for a Christmas date or outing to match the mood~
I applied Gun Metal along my lashline (not entirely covering the whole lid, just half lid), then apply Icy Blue over it covering the whole eyelid. I applied Gun Metal along my waterline blending it to my black liner, follow with Icy blue below it. Icy blue applied onto my 'puffy eyes / charming fat' can pump them up in a way that they'll look even puffier when I smile, just like the Koreans' eyes.
Winter cool look with my winter blue top. ^_^
